Wonderful Dinner
I was late for that dinner due to heavy trafic jam in Shanghai. It was embarrassed to see all sitting there just to wait for me. Shit! The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the style is for foreigners. I love the simple tidy style of the house, especially for the table, so nice to have food there also to have talk with others. The dinner was for Jason’s birthday, which would leave a wonderful memory for him. Three foreign friends came together to celebrate his birthday, who made the dinner fabulous. Garna sat next to me, a croatian who was a teacher in shanghai. He was talkable and knew about Chinese culture. He knew better than me on some points, such as 12 animals for chinese people. Shame for me. From him, I realized I still got the problem to catch all the words they talked at normal speed. We had noodles ,drunk beer and talked with laughter. Loodle came finally and took chocolate cake for Jason. Really nice cake, just like a handmade artcraft. Lighted the candle, sung the birthday song for Jason and Jason made a wish before he put out the candles. He was the happiest one on the earth at that moment. Twenty-six years ago, he came to the world with surprise of family and I guessed he must make a wish to hope all his family get well. After the dinner, we all went to play billiard. I played agaist Loodle, hoho, who played badly. He would celebrated every ball he got, very funny guy but so elegance French man. I eazily won him two sets. So happy to play with him. I kept laughing all the time, as some of you may know I always did such things as I was the one who love laugh. Then I played with two of Jason’s classmates in the college. Obviously they played better than me. However, I got every chance I could catch. I won them too. Maybe they just yielded to me. We got home at nearly 11:00 o’clock. I checked the presents which foreigners gave to him. Great, especially the gift from Jon., Nice book which written by an designer Anne, Jon’s friend, to introduce Shanghai famous places in English, also I found Anne’s signature on the face of book just for Jason. Their writing style are so beautiful and I am learning the way to write english words. Jason is an lucky guy. All results from his hard work and good personality. Go on , Jason.
