To help Robert, Leo, Travis buy golf club
We solved the questions on the website together. It was really tough job for me to translate from English to Chinese, also from Chinese to English. However, everything went so well. Then we went to golf equipment shop to buy the golf clubs for Leo’s wife and Travis himself.
It was So exciting to go there. For me it was the first time to get known with golf so closely. They were professional about the golf equipment. I asked many question about the knowledge of golf and they answered me one by one.
At the beginning, I was puzzled about two words, Callaway and Tailor Made, they repeated again and again. Finally I understood that these were two famous golf brands. Next all went smoothly. With my poor help, they all got what they want.
Then we talked about the price. Not a long time later all was settled. They paid USD dollar for the shop owner. Also the first time for me to see the real US dollar paper. We paid more than the total cost. Robert didn’t take the change and just said that, happy, happy to the owner.
Do you know why they buy the golf clubs in China? That is because we have the copy of famous brand and it is very cheap for the copy, at least for half discount. They just need the original head but copy club. On the way back to company, I asked them that if there was any copies in New Zealand. They all said no and it was illegal to sell the copies. Chinese people are great. Ho ho.
I got two presents from the shop: one is a hat and another is a golf ball. I loved the hat so much. They told me cool to wear it. Still I have a lesson that we need to get the knowledge about our life as much as we could. Who knows where we are going. I would never imagine having such chance to go into such golf shop. Really exciting day for me.
